All the Asian foods (^-^)/

During the holiday I got to shop at my local Asian shops and I bought lots of nice food and drink

I tried Pokka melon milk which tastes really nice, it's a Singaporean drink.

I also tried cookies and cream but I was honestly disappointed, the drink tasted way too sweet for me and didn't really taste like cookies at all.

I tried Ramune lemon flavour first which I didn't was that special, it just tasted like lemonade. But I decided to still give Ramune a try since it's so popular, and I found out that the strawberry flavour Ramune is really nice! It reminded me of fizzy candy ^ - ^

I attempted to make my own bubble tea at home using these tapioca pearls, but they don't really taste of much so I probably won't buy them again.

I also tired a powdered version of green tea, originally I wanted to get matcha tea (matcha is strong green tea). I don't usually like green tea but I tried matcha ice cream and I liked it, so I wanted to try matcha again.

This soy chocolate drink was nice

I also got Cici drinks which I absolutely love! The flavours are an interesting alternative to everyday British drinks, they include grape, pineapple, peach, mango etc. and they have yummy jelly bits in them.

A small Asian shop where I often buy most of my Asian food sold these which I was always curious to try, but I didn't know what they were because all the writing is in Kanji.
So I finally tried one and now I'm totally hooked! Xiang Piao Piao is a bubble tea that you can make at home either hot or cold, all you have to do is add hot water - if you want it cold add a small amount of hot water and fill the rest with cold water and ice. If you like bubble tea then I encourage you to try it (⌒▽⌒)

I had a custard bun from a Chinese bakery because I absolutely love custard buns and also pork buns.

And I'm addicted to Mama creamy tom yum noodles, if you like spicy food and tai curries/soups it's likely that you will love this too.

Grape gummies are one of my favourites, lychee and strawberry ones are also really good.

And milk pocky I love too!

I also love making tom yum soup with baby corn, tomatoes, mushrooms and prawns.

I hope this post was useful, Merry Christmas and have a happy new year!

How to make a kawaii garter

Hi guys, recently I decided to finally make  a garter that I think suits various Japanese street styles like decora, fairy kei and can maybe even pastel goth. Here's how I made it:

You will need:
Two lengths of gathered blue ribbon and one piece of pink ribbon (all same length as the measurement for your thighs minus two inches)
Suspender clip
Decorations (I used two bows and four pink heart stickers)

And not pictured because I forgot
( ̄▽ ̄)
Glue gun
Scissors
Wide pink ribbon (should be the same width as the suspender clip)
Elastic (2inches)
Candle and lighter (optional)

1. Glue the hemmed edges of the blue ribbon together as shown above.

2. Glue the pink ribbon on the center of the blue ribbon.
*at this point you can light your candle and use it to seal either end of the ribbon so that it doesn't fray - be sure to only put the ribbon close enough to the flame for it melt.

3. Put the wide pink ribbon through the suspender clip.

4. Glue a bow over the middle of the ribbons that you put together earlier. Then glue the ribbon with the suspender clip onto the back of the piece as shown.

5. I decided to glue on another little bow over the top of the other.

6. Add any other finishing touches, I glued on heart stickers.

(Excuse the quality of this last pic, it was dark when I finally finished)
7. Finally, glue either end of your elastic to both ends of the ribbon and it's done!

Hope you enjoyed this post

Making Sailormoon shoes

A while ago I bought some cheap canvas shoes for a DIY idea, the other day I finally came up with a good design to paint on them. Here's how I made them

The things I used were:
Canvas shoes
Acrylic paint
Paint brush & paper plate (for mixing)
Some star shaped beads in purple an yellow
A couple bows (pink & blue)
And a waterproof sealant suitable for canvas

I started by drawing on the design on each shoe in pencil

Then I started painting it (remove laces first!)

After this I painted small compact designs onto the side of each shoe

Then I sewed on some bows and also sewed two star beads on each shoe

The last step is to spray the shoes so that I can wear them outside - I haven't completed this step yet but when you do this part, remember to take out the laces and cover anything that you don't want the spray to be on eg. Put newspaper inside the shoe to prevent the soles from becoming waterproof

I hope this inspired you

HyperJapan #2 - Christmas market

On November 14th I went to HyperJapan's christmas market, there was so much cool stuff there. Including a cosplay show, dances by Kelsey Ellison and lots of awesome stalls.

I wore my seifuku from Bodyline, with Demonia gothic boots and my pink wig ftom ebay.

The cosparade had lots of cool costumes, you could see that the cosplayers had put so much effort into their outfits. One of my fabourites was the kimono cosplay although I'm not sure what it's from

After watching the cosparade I went to look at all the stalls

Limited edition 20th anniversary Sailormoon merch!  (・ω・)ノ

Me and my mum spotted lots of Sailormoon fan art, it was all part of an exhibition called Moon Pride which raised money for charity

Excuse the bad quality of the next few pics, the lighting was really bad so I couldn't tell whether the pics were focused T^T

I thought this one was really funny (≧∇≦)

I love the style of the one above, it looks so pretty :3

Sexy tuxedo mask hahaha

Here are some pics of Kelsey Ellison performing, her outfit and dances were so cute :3
