Honeycolor contact lens review

Hi everyone, recently I bought my first two pairs of contacts and I finally wore one pair so here's my review of them. Well first I ordered my contacts in february and they arrived in about a couple of weeks, which was pretty good. I was really happy with my order because I originally went to buy white out contacts for a future convention and then at checkout I realised that they were giving free lenses with every order. So I took the opportunity to try out some blue lenses, so that I could get used to wearing them before wearing the white outs. And also I've been rather curious to see what I would look like with blue eyes lol.

So here are the lenses I got, the white out zombie lenses of which I will do a review later on when I try them. They costed $25.90

These are the Super Pinky blue lenses, which came for free with my order. The original price is $25.90

Here are some pics to show how the lenses looked on me, the colour showed up very well even though I have very dark brown eyes.

A before pic just to show the natural colour of my eyes

And here's how I look with the lenses on

I tried them on at first for about 3 or 4 hours, honestly my eyes were kind of irritated from them when I first put them in but then they felt comfortable. After a few hours I decided to take them out because my eyes stang a little, after removing them they still stang for about 1 hour but I applied regular eye drops and they felt fine again. As I am writing this it's been 24hrs since I wore them so rest assured that I didn't get any eye problems, Honeycolor lenses are definitely safe as far as I know. I will be trying them again soon so that I can give more of an accurate review on the comfort of the lenses, maybe my eyes just weren't used to the lenses and the solution or maybe I had some dust on the lense but I will check more carefully next time.

Also Honeycolor sent me free lens cases that are really cute with each pair, I ordered some multipurpose lens solution from them and lycee eyedrops. And I must say I think that the lycee drops are really good, I found them easy to put in whilst wearing my lenses which is a big thing cuz I absolutely HATE putting eyedrops in my eyes.

Overall I think honeycolor is a good place to get lenses, they sell high quality and they provide quick shipping. Right now I prefer not to give my final conclusion on the lenses as I did have some discomfort, although this could be my own fault since others have found the lenses very comfortable. So I will be back with more info soon after I've tried them again.

Before I tried my lenses, I did all my research on them and watched tons of videos but then I tried to put the lenses in but I just couldn't. Then the other day (beginning of april) I came across a video tutorial that a girl made on youtube and it worked for me! I was so relieved and I felt so accomplished, I thought I was never gonna get the damn things in haha. So here is a link for the video if you are also having trouble with lenses, I hope it helps you https://youtu.be/h9GqGRyJ9gA
And also I recommend watching Noodlerella's video about lens care, I found it very helpful. https://youtu.be/hAnW1gbbQq4

Bodyline shoes s526 review

I finally ordered my first lolita shoes, I got them from bodyline. And I got these in pink, http://bodyline.co.jp/en/s526.html

I've adored these shoes for a really long time, maybe a year, but they were always out of stock in my size. I have really big feet, I'm a UK size 9 and I'm average height, so I was cautious about purchasing shoes from Japan because they usually tend to sell small sizes in clothing and shoes.

Bodyline has two listings for this shoe, theres this one: http://bodyline.co.jp/en/shoes192.html

And the one that I ordered which only comes in gold, red and pink:http://bodyline.co.jp/en/s526.html

The first listing is usually sold out on larger or medium sizes so check the listing that I used if you want to. But this does limit you to only three colours.

Anyways, lets get to the review. Usually my bodyline packages get to me exactly two weeks after ordering, however this time it was held up by customs and it was delayed by roughly two weeks AND I had to pick it up and pay a fee of £13(; ̄ェ ̄)so be aware that this can happen if you order from Japan.

But my order finally got to me safe ad sound, my first impression was that they are freaking beautiful. Exactly how I wanted them to be, the stitching is of a good quality, everything is made neatly.

Sorry about the bad lighting in my photos, the weather has been really bad and it's quite dark.

Oops excuse my finger :/

As you can see there is a little bit of adhesive left of the middle of the bow, but I easily wiped it away with a wet cloth.

The shoe feels sturdy and strong, as soon as I got them home I rubbed a thin layer of Lord Sheraton balsam into them because I've heard that bodyline shoes can get marked up quite easily. I've never used the balsam on anything before so I can't tell you how good it is yet.

The shoe sizing was perfect, there's a little bit of space so that your feet don't get squished. I ordered a size 270 and I measured my feet to be exactly 27cm, which gave me more doubts when ordering but it was fine.

With bodyline shoes the sizing is listed according to foot length when standing, eg. Size 250 is for people who have feet that are 25cm. To measure your feet you should stand on paper and trace around your foot and then measure the tracing for the most accurate measurement at home.

The shoes feel reasonably comfortable for heels, they are smallish/medium sized heels, but I guess it depends on what your used to (I never wear heels to be honest). So for me they do feel a bit uncomfortable when I walk around but  they're okay. I haven't had the chance to wear them outside yet, I'll most likely update this post when I do. The sole has some cushioning for the ball of your foot and your heel which does improve comfort.

The price of the shoes was reasonable too, I purchase them in yen which including tax came up to about £28 and I got free shipping by airmail, which is pretty good from my experience.

Overall I give these shoes a 9/10
They're reasonably comfortable, they're pretty and they're well-made. I'm so glad that someone sells cute shoes in large sizes, thank the Gods!! Haha I'll definetly buy shoes from bodyline again

* UPDATE *

So I had a chance to try out these shoes, I went shopping so l was walking for most of the day. I found that after a few hours my feet became very painful, when I arrived home I could barely walk the balls of my feet hurt really bad and so did my toes. I'm writing this three days after wearing them and they still hurt a bit. l did see that in other reviews people said that they were comfortable and you could walk around in them for hours so maybe it's just because I'm not used to wearing heels (l always wear flats or very low heels). But I would recommend only wearing them for short periods of time and to travel by car when wearing them to minimise the amount of walking you do.

I hope you found this review helpful

Bodyline review

I've ordered from Bodyline twice in the past, this time I decided to order my first lolita dress which I've been extremely excited about (⌒▽⌒) I also ordered a purple seifuku and a Chinese dress, the reason I decided to make a review is because although there are many Bodyline reviews  out there I couldn't find a single review of their Chinese dress.

The shipping of my order took
I ordered through airmail because it was free at the time I ordered and I usually avoid paying for shipping just in case the things I order don't fit so I don't want to accidentally waste a lot of money.

Here is the dress I ordered, it's Bodyline's balloon bears in mint which I love so much it's so pretty ♥‿♥

I ordered it in the biggest size they had which is a little smaller than my measurements, it fits better than I expected although my boobs are a bit squished in it. The arm holes were quite tight so I took out the elastic and put a longer elastic back in.

Here is the seifuku I ordered in purple.

I actually wanted to buy one of the seifukus in the image below, but I already own a Bodyline seifuku in navy which had a large top but the waist band was a bit too tight. The seifukus in the image below  have smaller measurements than the seifuku I own so I decided to get a plain purple one in 6L, which I'll probably make a pink bow for later on.

The seifuku fits very well.

I suggest that if you buy a bodyline seifuku that you measure your waist and order the set that has the more comfortable skirt size. And then you can just alter the top by taking in the sides which is really easy, however this does depend on your body type.

And finally this is the China dress in blue, I ordered a size 48 which is a little bigger than my size. I decided to go for a larger size because I was worried that it might not fit, and since I can sew having a bigger size would not be a problem for me.

Excuse the crappy photo, I had to use a timer on my phone and I wasn't ready for the pic :/

As you can see the Chinese dress in the image (which I ordered) was long, but rather annoyingly they sent me a really short one that just about covers my butt. I checked Bodyline's website, and they don't even have this print in short. So i have no idea what that's about...

I contacted Bodyline about this and I am yet to get a response, I previously contacted them and got a reply within the next day. But now I've been waiting for a week...

The Chinese dress fit well over my bust and hips, but for some reason the shape assumes that you don't have a bottom because the measurement doesn't increase from the hip. So I had to cut the sides open about 10cm more and re-hem it. If your bottom or thighs measure more than your hips, then go for a size bigger.

I hope this review was helpful and that you enjoyed reading it, good luck for any future Bodyline purchases you make
